Sweet little three month old baby Lotus came to my studio for her session last week. Mama drove quite a distance for Lotus’ session, and I was a little nervous because three month old babies can be a tricky age to pose in studio. I was immediately put at ease because she was the smiliest little baby girl! She was happy the entire time she was awake and then feel into a peaceful slumber, so I got some great sleepy posed photographs too!

Mom likes girly colors, along with neutrals, so I decided to do two different poses on my favorite Flokatis from Luneberry. Lotus let me put her in a pink wrap, as long as her little hands were free to chew on. I put her on my white Flokati, and used an adorable flowered baby girl headband from The Dainty Miss. I loved her gummy smiles!

Purple looked so good against Lotus’ skin tone and with her gorgeous feathery hair, so I made sure I used a dainty little outfit from Cora and Violet. The hints of purple and the tulle matched perfectly on the purple flokati. She absolutely loved being in front of the camera. She had the biggest blue eyes and looked directly at the camera many times!

Once baby girl fell asleep, I got some really great shots of her posed all smooshed up. Her little pout just made me melt. Pale pink complemented her complexion, and she looked like a sleeping baby angel.

At three months Lotus was really starting to show her personality. I loved that she was older and gave me all kinds of great expressions, but still fell sound asleep and let me wrap her up in a womb pose. These are some of my favourite shots from the session!
