I was so fortunate to have this little guy in my studio in early January. Introducing handsome newborn baby boy, Leo! His Mom and Dad recently moved to the Trenton area, and little Leo came into the world right just before Christmas. He was a little older than my usual newborns, but his Mama followed my prep guide to a “T” and he was perfect throughout his entire session.

His mom, Una, was a nurse at Sick Kids Hospital before moving to Trenton and she was pure kindness. I felt like we’d known each other forever. Since Leo was born around Christmas we decided to do a little Christmas set up. Leo opened his eyes and gave me the cutest expressions during the holiday pose. It was the perfect expression to go with the little pom hat I bought from Little Blessings Prop Shop in New Brunswick. The goal is always to have sleepy baby, but when they give me the funny faces I won’t complain!

Leo looked so good in grey, and I decided to use my sleepy cap set from Alpine Lane Props. He was so happy on his tummy all curled up. I mean, just look at those smirks! I love how rolly polly he looks. The little snowman hat was made specially for him. I have so many props and wraps and caps, so when parents ask I always tell them they don’t need to bring anything but themselves and baby. However, I love when they bring in one or two items special to them or their families to include in the newborn session.

Meeting new clients is always exciting and I hope I get to watch this sweet boy as he grows!
