Woodstock Ontario Newborn Photographer- Sarah Markus Photography

I recently welcomed little Nora into my studio just outside of Woodstock, Ontario. As soon as I met her sweet mama I just knew we’d be friends- after all we share the same name! Speaking of names, I am just in love with this little girl’s name. It is such a beautiful classic!

This baby girl has the most perfect skin and her beautiful dark hair is accentuated perfectly by the cream backdrop that I chose for her session. Nora is a sleepy baby and pretty much let me use any pose or prop that I wanted. What a treat!

I purchased this honey bucket prop from The Original Photoblocks Props http://www.theoriginalphotoblocksprops.com. I mention this prop shoppe regularly because they are one of the best! Even with a long trip overseas, the package always arrives in Woodstock on time. As you know, I keep my style simplistic, after all these beautiful babies are the star of the show.

Nora’s mom loves neutrals to complement their mid-century modern style. Nora’s nursery features floral accents as well. I incorporate mom’s colour selections into each session. It always makes me happy to see that my clients print and display their images in their home. I use this little bed from http://www.rozzirayne.com often. Babies always look so cozy snuggled in it. 
Nora loves being wrapped as most newborns do! My favourite part of the session is when they are bundled up. They always sleep so content during this portion of their pictures. Look at her sleeping so peacefully!
